Crepe bandage is used to provide light support for minor sprains and strains. Sprains, strains, and muscle bruises can be treated with a pressure dressing and direct cold application as a form of first aid immediately after the injury.
Crepe bandage can also hold a sterile dressing in place over a wound under pressure until medical attention is obtained.
Caution:
Take care not to unduly restrict circulation beyond point where bandage is applied.
