Yes, this is really a safety shoe. The shaft of the CELERITY KNIT BLUE WNS LOW is made of SAFETY KNIT®, a highly flexible and durable textile fabric that adapts perfectly to the foot and fits like a sock. TPU protection elements at the toe cap and heel provide abrasion resistance, especially during kneeling work.
More running shoe technology can be found in the sole. The combination of an ultra-light midsole and a heat-resistant (up to 300°C), slip-resistant rubber outsole is inspired by the latest in running shoe innovation. The integrated Torsion Control System in the midsole supports the foot’s natural movement and provides greater stability.
The lightweight evercushion® MISS footbed with a waffle structure keeps the inside of the shoe comfortably cool and dry. Additional protection is provided by the flexible FAP® anti-perforation layer, made from ceramic-coated fibers, and a steel toe cap.
