The Hercules FT01-09A-00 9kg ABC dry powder fire extinguisher is designed for demanding, high occupation hazard areas, offering a 55A : 233B fire rating, nitrogen propellant and reliable performance, and is supplied complete with a wall bracket.

Suitable for large industrial sites and locations with significant Class A and Class B combustible or flammable liquid loads, this extinguisher is engineered to handle severe fires in challenging environments such as exhibition areas, furniture showrooms, wood-working premises, vehicle repair workshops, aircraft hangars and high-bay warehouses.

It is tested for use on Class A fires (combustible materials such as wood, tyres, furniture and plastics), Class B fires (flammable liquids such as paint, thinner and petrol), Class C fires (flammable gases such as LPG) and Class E fires (electrical fires, excluding lithium battery fires). For Class C and E fires, SCDF guidance emphasises switching off the gas or electrical supply first; any remaining fire is then typically a Class A or B fire and easier to extinguish.
