The PIG BOM413 Oil-Only Absorbent Booms are designed for effective containment and absorption of oil and fuel spills on water. Manufactured by PIG, model BOM413 features a dark colour that blends into surroundings while providing reliable spill control and easy retrieval during spill response operations.

These oil-only absorbent booms absorb and retain oils, fuels and oil-based liquids without taking in water, making them suitable for marine, industrial and environmental spill response. Each boom floats at the water’s surface even when fully saturated, while the tough outer mesh and spunbond polypropylene skin provide durability and UV resistance for extended outdoor use. Strong attachment clips and internal rope reinforcement support safe deployment and linking of multiple booms for wider spill coverage. The booms can also be used on land and incinerated after use to help reduce waste.
