PIG® Oil-Only Spaghetti Boom BOM403

The PIG® Oil-Only Spaghetti Boom BOM403 is specially designed to contain and absorb thick oils and other viscous liquids on water. With a slim 5-inch diameter and extended 20-foot length, it is suitable for spill response in open water and fast-moving conditions.

Its mesh skin and polypropylene spaghetti strip filler allow oil to pass through easily and be absorbed efficiently, while repelling water completely. The tough polyester outer mesh is UV resistant for long-term outdoor use. A rope running along the full length of the boom withstands up to 400 lb loads, providing added strength during deployment and retrieval. The boom floats on the water surface even when saturated and features zinc-plated carbon steel clips and rings for secure linking.
