PIG® Oil-Only Spaghetti Boom BOM202

The PIG® Oil-Only Spaghetti Boom BOM202 is specially designed to contain and absorb thick oils and viscous oil-based liquids on water. With an external diameter of 8 inches and a length of 10 feet, each boom absorbs up to 12 gallons, delivering a total absorbency of 48 gallons per bag.

Its mesh skin and spaghetti strip filler are effective in pulling in heavy oils, making it suitable for use in fast-moving waters. The tough polyester outer mesh is UV resistant, allowing long-term outdoor use while enabling fluids to pass easily to the polypropylene filler. A rope running the full length of the boom supports loads up to 400 lbs, adding strength during deployment and retrieval. The boom floats at the surface even when saturated, allowing easy recovery after spill response.
