The Justrite 05910R Biohazard Waste Can is a 23L steel waste container designed for the safe, temporary collection of biological and infectious waste. Its key feature is the foot-operated, self-closing lid, allowing hands-free disposal while helping to reduce the risk of contamination.

Ideal for medical facilities and research laboratories, the sturdy steel construction features a leakproof design for regulated waste and contaminated laundry. Pressing the foot pedal automatically opens the lid, while releasing the pedal allows the cover to close quickly.

The biohazard waste can meets OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 requirements for the segregation of infectious waste and is approved by FM Approvals and TUV. An optional Justrite #05901 biohazard bag can be secured around the circumference of the can top.
