MICROGARD® 2500 PLUS is a unique material offering exceptional mechanical strength, liquid, and particulate protection. MICROGARD® 2500 PLUS achieves the highest levels of protection according to EN14126: 2003 for a barrier to infective agents.

It features a 3-piece hood, elasticated hood, wrists, waist, and ankles, a 2-way front zip with a resealable storm flap, and finger loops.

Features & Benefits: MICROGARD® 2500 PLUS achieves the highest classifications for protection from biological agents in accordance with EN 14126 and ASTM F 1671 for the penetration of blood, body fluids, and blood-borne pathogens. It is Type 3-B liquid-tight certified and features air and water vapor permeable (breathable) fabric to help reduce the risk of heat stress. Additionally, it is ultra-low linting to help reduce the risk of cross-contamination in critical areas and is anti-static, tested according to EN 1149-5. The stitched and taped seams provide increased strength and an effective liquid and particle barrier.

Applications: This protective gear is suitable for use in viral contaminated areas (including Avian Influenza), biological protection, emergency medical response, medical research, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, low-pressure industrial cleaning, industrial paint spraying, the nuclear industry, life sciences, chemical, food processing, industrial, and law enforcement.
