NEW PIG KIT610 NiCad Battery Neutralising Spill Kit

NEW PIG KIT610 is a NiCad battery neutralising spill kit designed to absorb, solidify and neutralise potassium hydroxide electrolyte spills. Packed in a white polyethylene bucket with bold “Spill Kit” lettering, it keeps absorbents, PPE and clean-up tools organised for fast response in industrial battery handling, maintenance and storage areas.

The kit includes PIG Base Neutralising Socks to help stop spills from spreading, along with neutralising mats and loose absorbent to handle the remaining electrolyte. The absorbents change colour on contact with electrolyte and remain colour-changed once neutralisation is complete, helping users identify a safer time to handle the waste.

The gelling agents help solidify electrolyte during neutralisation, reducing the risk of liquid leaching from the mat. The polyethylene bucket has an easy-open screw-on lid and may be used to ship or temporarily store used absorbents. It has a UN Rating of 1H2/Y30/S for Packing Groups II and III.
