The Speakman PEM-607 is a floor-mounted emergency deluge shower and non-aerated eye/face wash combination unit designed for workplace emergency washing applications. Operation

The emergency shower is activated by pulling the triangle pull rod. Once activated, the stay-open valve continues discharging water until the pull rod is manually returned to the off position.

The non-aerated eye/face wash can be activated using either the push handle or foot pedal. Water continues to flow until the activation mechanism is manually returned to the off position.

Maintenance

• Activate the eye wash weekly and allow water to flow for approximately 30 seconds to flush the line.
• Check that water flows evenly from both outlets.
• Ensure discharged water is clean.
• Inspect the unit yearly to ensure continued compliance with AS 4775-2007.
• Use only genuine Speakman replacement parts when repairing or replacing components.

Usage Note: The unit should be connected to an uninterrupted potable water supply. Using non-potable water may expose users to contaminated water during an emergency.
